Join this exciting wildlife adventure in Kenya that begins at Nairobi National Park, home to 420 bird species. Travel to Amboseli National Park, known for its massive elephant population and diverse birdlife, then proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park to see rhinos and a unique Giraffe species. Finally, explore the Masai Mara to catch glimpses of the Masai Giraffe, buffalo, and Grant's Gazelles.

 

Itinerary

 

Day 1: Nairobi 

   - Meet your representatives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Sarova Panafric Hotel for an overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, a city tour or a short game drive at Nairobi National Park may be arranged. 

   -Accommodation: Emara At Olesereni 

   - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

 

Day 2: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

   - Enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel. Depart by road to Amboseli National Park, where you will embark on your first game drive to the lodge. The park is home to over 420 bird species and a significant elephant population, drawn by underground springs feeding from Mount Kilimanjaro's melting snows. After lunch at the lodge, go for an afternoon game drive. 

   - Return for a delicious dinner at the lodge. 

   - Accommodation: Amboseli Sopa Lodge 

   - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

 

Day 3: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru National Park

   - Depart Amboseli for Lake Nakuru with an anticipated arrival for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, which offers great opportunities to see rhinos, a rare species of Giraffe, and diverse wildlife. 

   - Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge 

   - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

 

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha 

   - Travel to Lake Naivasha, surrounded by papyrus. This freshwater lake boasts over 400 bird species and potential sightings of hippos, giraffes, buffalo, and colobus monkeys. The lake, situated in the Great Rift Valley, gets its name from the Maasai phrase Nai’posha, meaning “rough water,” due to sudden storms. An optional boat ride can reveal numerous waterbird species and hippo pods. 

   - Accommodation: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge 

   - Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

 

Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

   - After breakfast, travel to the Masai Mara. This vast reserve is part of the Serengeti plains and is renowned for its stunning wildebeest migration and the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, and Cape Buffalo. After lunch, enjoy an evening game drive in the reserve. 

   - Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge 

   - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

 

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve 

   - Explore the Masai Mara during planned morning and afternoon game drives. The park teems with diverse mammals, including Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Impala, Zebra, Topi, and both Thomson's and Grant's Gazelles. On this last day in the Mara, you can also opt for a hot air balloon ride or visit a traditional Masai village. 

   - Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge 

   - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

 

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi

   - Start the day with an early morning game drive followed by a full English breakfast at your lodge. Depart for Nairobi with lunch along the way. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, with assistance available for shopping and sightseeing. 

   - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch
