Itinerary

 

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representatives will welcome you and arrange your transfer to Sarova Panafric Hotel for your overnight stay. If time permits, we can offer an optional city tour or a brief game drive in Nairobi National Park.

DAY 2: NAIROBI TO SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

Leave Nairobi for Samburu, with a brief game drive along the way. Enjoy some relaxation time in the afternoon, followed by an evening game drive. Samburu is renowned for its striking scenery, arid savannahs, and the Uaso Nyiro River, which provides habitat for unique species found only north of the equator.

DAY 3: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

As dawn breaks, enjoy a cup of coffee while observing wildlife from your tent's terrace. Spend the day searching for elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that inhabit the grasslands and acacia woodlands. Samburu is famous for its distinctive resident species, as well as an impressive array of over 450 bird species.

DAY 4: SAMBURU TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Travel to the stunning Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. The park boasts abundant wildlife and a renowned rhino sanctuary, making it a birdwatcher's paradise with more than 400 species, including white pelicans and marabou storks.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Set off for the Masai Mara National Reserve, part of the expansive Serengeti plains known for the great wildebeest migration. After lunch and some relaxation at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this incredible wilderness filled with diverse wildlife, including the Big Five.

DAY 6: EXPLORING MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Continue your quest for Africa’s magnificent predators during extensive game drives today and tomorrow. The plains are dotted with herds of grazing animals while elusive cheetahs and leopards seek shelter in acacia trees. Optionally, visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience filled with traditional singing and dancing.

DAY 7: RETURN TO NAIROBI

Begin the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast. Depart back to Nairobi by road, arriving around early afternoon with lunch along the way.
