Overview:
Discover the rich wildlife and bird diversity of Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. Participate in numerous game drives to view iconic animals, including the Big Five and other species such as zebras, antelopes, gnus, and oribis, while also enjoying the breathtaking sight of the wildebeest migration.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
- You will be greeted by our representatives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and taken to the Sarova Panafric Hotel where you will spend the night.
- Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to enjoy an optional city tour or visit Nairobi National Park.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara
- After breakfast, we will drive through the stunning Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, famous for the remarkable wildebeest migration and home to the Big Five: Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, and Rhinos.
- Enjoy lunch at the lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive, where you will encounter the diverse wildlife including Masai Giraffes, Buffalos, Elands, and herds of Impalas, Zebras, and various Gazelles.

Days 3 & 4: Full Days in Masai Mara
- Spend these two days immersed in the wild, focusing on locating the elusive big cats as well as observing the spectacular migration.
- The area is teeming with wildlife, including vast herds of zebras and numerous other species such as giraffes, jackals, gnus, and crocodiles in the Mara River. Birdwatchers can delight in spotting over 400 bird species.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi
- For non-participants of the hot air balloon option, enjoy morning tea or coffee followed by an early game drive to spot grazing animals and perhaps a cheetah or leopard.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast before taking an optional visit to a traditional Masai village (additional cost) to witness their culture.
- Depart the Masai Mara by road, with lunch on the way, arriving back in Nairobi by late afternoon.
